They say great things happen when women support each other…I couldn’t agree more. Women around the world use social media as a powerful tool for their entrepreneurial endeavors. Whether they run a small shop, offer services or run a blog that generate them income, we are all in this game together. I think recognizing that brings us together and helps motivate us in seeing there is an entire world of opportunity just waiting for you at the tip of your fingertips (literally, on your phone).

I wanted this to be the first post of the new year because it is where a big chunk of my focus is in 2017: empowering women, gaining knowledge and diversifying my network. When I launched my blog in August 2016, I was inspired by the amount of encouragement and support I received from thousands of women out there. I was humbled and I remember telling my husband Milad how meaningful that was to me and that I will forever hold onto that feeling. I think if we direct our thoughts into positive actions, only great things are capable of happening. But there is one key ingredient for that to succeed: a positive environment. By environment I mean community or network. Who we know, who we give a chance to, who we listen to, who listens to us, who are our readers, and so on. In the mommy niche that I am in, I had the honor of meeting so many wonderful mommies that I have built long-lasting friendships with.Without social media, I think our paths mostly likely would not have crossed.
So this year, 2017 I am focused on investing my time in the three things I previously mentioned (empowering women, gaining knowledge and diversifying my network). A small yet significant step I have taken this month is exploring Hustle & Humble. Here is what I received in my first box.
