Totesavvy is a lifesaver because packing for Surah was a bit overwhelming, especially in the early months when she was really young and I felt like she needed everything in her room and more. Even if I had to pack her stuff up for a walk in the park. I felt nervous about running into a situation where I would be thinking “Oh darn, I knew I should’ve packed that as well!”. Although I prioritized the items she must have and the items she can do without, I still felt I either over packed or I left something out. And my overly-organized OCD habits only made it worse.

Their pockets help me filter out all the things Surah doesn’t really need by keeping only her essentials in place. I even have space to carry my iPad or her books for entertainment, aside from her baby bottle, teethers, bib, wipes, diapers, sanitizer, extra pair of clothes and a muslin blanket (oh and my keys!!). Have you ever had a mom-brain moment with your keys? So you are standing in front of your door, one hand carrying your baby while the other hand is scrambling through an over-packed diaper bag just to find your house keys. You do not remember where you placed it only to discover it was in your back pocket the entire time.
