It’s no surprise that eyebrow makeup is tracking the fastest-growing category in the higher-end makeup. We all know ‘bolder eyebrows’ is what everyone wants to achieve so we fill in areas of our brows to get the “perfect eyebrow”. With 2 close pregnancies, a long-breastfeeding journey and an increasingly demanding schedule, I’ve experienced the hair on my head, lashes and brows weaken. My doctor explained the reason for hair effortlessly falling often is because my body is giving away my nutrients to my kids through pregnancy and then through breastfeeding. And my hectic schedule is not helping as I have been skipping on necessary nutrients.
So the past few month’s I’ve tried hard to make changes in those areas as I don’t want to go bald, just not yet! Especially not from my brows. Eyebrows are essential to expression and to framing one’s mood. You don’t want brows that show you are upset but in fact you are really happy (lol). I follow some talented and popular makeup artists on Instagram and I noticed not all of them have the privilege of eyebrow hair so they draw their brows more. While those who have enough brow hair to work with, have THE BEST BROW GAME!! Wouldn’t you agree?
Personally, I think I am (or was heh) blessed with enough hair to work with if I only master my brow techniques (which I am still working on, but hang in there while I learn better techniques to get the brows I want. Psst, I am not fully satisfied with my brow game). However, the hair loss I mentioned has really taken the best of the edges/corners of my brows. This requires me to draw in more which is something I don’t like doing nor do I like the look but it’s something I sort of have no choice for. My eyebrows are thinning like no tomorrow!! AHH!!
In my brow struggle, I’ve made a sweet discovery: Essential Eyebrow Solution (EES).
